ABOUT HOLLY
Always An Artist
Hi, I'm Holly.
I've lived in Montana since 2000 and I love it! Seeing the beauty here is daily inspiring.
I’m stepping into my true calling as a professional artist after a lifetime of creative curiosity. My past chapters in teaching, interior design, and bookkeeping now offer a grounded, thoughtful perspective to every canvas I touch.
I’ve always been captivated by color and storytelling, and those passions now come alive through my original works. I am so excited to share this journey by capturing your most special moments through live event painting and commissions.
Years of Creative Passion
Painting the Vibe
I translate the invisible magic of your event onto canvas, focusing less on literal imagery and more on the raw emotion, movement, and atmosphere of the moment. My live paintings capture how your celebration feels, preserving the heartfelt energy of the room into a vibrant, lasting memory.
My process is deeply intuitive, where every brushstroke acts as a rhythmic reaction to the music, laughter, and unique mood filling the room. This responsive approach ensures that your painting is a one-of-a-kind reflection of the atmosphere, capturing the very soul of your celebration as it unfolds.
HOW I CREATE ART
MY LIVE PROCESS
[ STEP ONE ]
LIVE ACTION PAINTING
I paint large-scale works using vibrant acrylics right in front of your guests. This method brings a sense of excitement and entertainment to any venue, as I quickly turn a blank canvas into a finished scene.
[ STEP TWO ]
LAYERING THE MOMENT
By using a mix of traditional methods and modern paints, I build rich textures that jump off the surface. This technique allows me to work fast while ensuring your painting has the depth of a gallery masterpiece.
[ THE RESULT ]
CAPTURING THE FEELING
I specialize in documenting the unique atmosphere of your celebration. My focus is on catching the light, the movement, and the joy of the crowd, leaving you with a memory you can touch and keep forever.
A professional and warm approach to live events, delivering museum-quality artwork that tells the true story of your most important celebrations.
